Dubai Creek Park
The name was derived from the location of the park on the bank of Dubai Creek.
Reflects a green colour, the park creating a splendid harmony with the blue water of the creek, the clear sky of Dubai and the greenery of the Creek Club known for its deep-rooted sails in the sea of history. All these features amalgamate gradually with the high buildings that distinguish the palpitating heart of the bustling city center.
Dubai Creek Park, occupying more than 96 hectare, and is considered the second largest park in Dubai following Mushrif Park. Nevertheless, it is recognized by its modern equipment and is distinctive due to its strategic location in the heart of the City.

Recreational Areas
A small 18-hole Mini golf course is available in Dubai Creek Park for the fans of this game, which is attracting many of Dubai residents. Five shady places for the children's games have been set, as well as an amphi-theater equipped to accommodate 1200 people and to host public events and performances.

In addition to the main restaurant, many small snackhouses are set along the park, by the creek, over a length of 2.6 km, offering refreshments and light meals to visitors during official working hours.
The Boats and Park Entrances
Five gates are distributed along the Creek Park, three of which are on the main street and the other two, on both sides of Al Maktoum and Al Garhood bridges. Four berths to host boats arriving from Deira and Dubai are available, enabling visitors to reach the park by a touring boat.
The Green Area
The park is designed in a modern style, combining both architectural and natural designs. It includes new kinds of plants cultivated for the first time in the United Arab Emirates. It also constitutes a technical reference for the students interested in landscaping parks organization. The park comprises 280 kinds of trees and flowers planted for the first time in addition to green lawns covering around 39 hectares of the park's total area.
Flowers and Gardens
Within the sides of this area, a running stream flows amongst various trees through escalating curves and slopes. In addition to the rocky garden, flower beds, green lawns, fountains, fixed games and sundial model. Trees are floodlit, thus, showing the terrain of the area and creating a splendid night view.
Ditch Irrigation Area
The area close to Al Garhood Bridge was designated for the cultivation of palm trees and is irrigated through ditches. This irrigation method was applied in the past and it's still used in some parts of the U.A.E.
The Green Area
Since the establishment of Mushrif Park until today, the Municipality had never neglected planting and greening it. Besides the 42500 square meters green lawns, different kinds of trees, bushes, flower beds and decorative plants were planted around the park. It includes 29194 trees and bushes; in addition to the pre-existing palm region consisting of 1200 palm trees, yielding yearly the best quality dates, another vast areas have been designated for the expansion of green lawns.

Dubai Creek Park, occupying more than 96 hectare large, costing more than 106 million Dirhams, is considered the second largest park in Dubai following Mushrif Park. Nevertheless, it is recognized by its modern equipment and is distinctive due to its strategic location in the heart of the City and it was opened in 1994. The park includes many unique recreational areas, and has three helicopter landing pads, a first aid room, a communication center and water coolers.

Al Safa Park
Never did a name of any park in Dubai apply to its actual location, as does the name of Al Safa Park. The complete serenity surrounding the park confirms the rightness of the name. The park was opened in 1975 on one side of Sheikh Zayed road on a 64 hectares area.
The park has undergone a first development phase in 1984 covering the provision of sanitary utilities, construction of an indoor playground, and the provision of new games. From 1989 to 1992, the park has undergone the second phase of development, which has costed 45 million Dirhams, covering the institution of several modern-recreational and service facilities.
A new set of games suitable for all ages, has contributed to the development and modernization of this region. The traffic village for children has the objective of teaching the children the traffic rules as it consists of running battery cars on roads having traffic signs, stop lights and pedestrian line. A mini train roams around the area, in addition to various electrical games such as cars horses, a giant rotating wheel and an air conditioned hall comprising another set of electrical and fixed games, a main restaurant and a fast-food snack house.Available Services
The Ladies Park Area
As per the country's local traditions, the municipality has designated a part of the park for ladies and kids, furnished with places where mothers can rest and watch their children playing in the garden. Public utilities have been added to the fenced area with three entrances. Shady trees and different bushes were also cultivated.
Sport Games Area
Since its foundation Al Safa Park was characterized by sporting particularities, as sports fan frequent the park to practice their hobbies.
A large green lawn has been reserved to include football, volleyball, basketball, tennis courts, a jogging track and a gymnasium.

The Area of the Maze and the Fixed Games
This is one of the modern recreational areas in A1 Safa Park. The maze is formed of various passages and vestibules surrounded by a fence of bushes, with only one exit. Whoever enters this labyrinth should try to find his way out. The idea is to create an amusing spirit for the garden visitors while attempting to discover the exit. Nearby, another space has been allocated for various children's fixed games, appropriately selected, meeting safety measures and children's needs offering them several opportunities to choose their games.
The Area of Lakes and Waterfalls
A big hill was built, allowing a panoramic view of the whole park, as well as a waterfall streaming from the hilltop down into a big lake. This area is provided with resting seats and children's games on both banks of the lake. Bridges were added to facilitate crossing between both sides. Fountains and small touring boats exist in the middle of the lake.
Other lakes surrounded by dense trees are also available in the park. Being a natural region, these lakes attract numerous kinds of birds, over 200 species including the migrant ones.
The Barbecues Area
Besides being a recreational center, the park has additional facilities, such as an area equipped with 21 barbecue and wooden shades and seats.
The International Parks and Theater Area
This area includes 3 types of parks: UAE, European and Oriental one. Each park is cultivated and enfolds fountains, seats and lights. On the
other side of the area lies the amphitheater, circle shaped, and built to
host artistic and musical shows.
The Bus Shuttle
Due to its large area (64 hectares) and the difficulty of reaching its edges, the park has been provided with a modern train that seams on a circular route, facilitating the transportation of visitors between various areas through its nine different stations.
Green Lawns Area
Al Safa Park is uniquely characterized by its vast green lawns covering 80% of its total space. Many kinds of trees were cultivated in the park, such as palms, almonds, and many others, as well as bushes and multi colored roses. The number of trees and bushes planted in Al Safa Park amounts to 16924, in addition to flowers, soil and wall plants.

Jumeirah Beach Park
Jumeirah Beach Park is ideal for a family picnic on the weekends. The park has a beach front and is visited a lot by tourists for swimming and sunbathing. It has picnic tables, barbecue area, small play areas for children, volleyball play area, showers and swimming areas with lifeguards.Jumeirah Beach Park spans 12 hectares of parkland with children’s play areas, barbecue sites, food kiosks, volleyball areas, jetty area fronting on to the beach with lifeguards on duty. It is situated on Jumeirah Beach Road next to the Hilton Beach Club.
The park was opened in 1989 on 13 hectares of land, to be the first beach park, overlooking directly the arabian gulf in Jumeirah residential area. Different Earth levels distinguish the park, constituting a group of green hills encompassing recreational and games areas.
Entry fee is Dhs 3 per person or Dhs 20 per vehicle and the park is open between the hours of 8:00 am and 9:00 p.m. daily. Mondays entry is restricted to women and children
